Information on Kadina, 5554

Kadina is the largest town on the Yorke Peninsula and one of the three Copper Triangle towns famous for their shared copper mining history, known as "Little Cornwall" due to the significant number of Cornish immigrants who worked the mines in the late 19th century.

Located 160 kilometres from Adelaide, Kadina serves as a commercial centre and great base for exploring northern Yorke Peninsula and the Copper Coast, just 15 minutes from the coast.

The area offers quiet beaches, excellent fishing and swimming, and opportunities to explore rich copper mining history.
