Moree is known for its artesian hot springs, heritage architecture and relaxed country charm. Located in northern New South Wales on the traditional lands of the Gamilaraoi people, this hub of 7,000+ people sits on NSW's rich black-soil plains and lays claim to the title of artesian spa capital of Australia.

Moree is a seven-hour drive from Sydney and five hours from Brisbane, or a 1.5-hour flight from Sydney with Qantas. There are train services from Sydney via Werris Creek Station taking approximately 9 hours 15 minutes, and bus services taking around 10 hours 15 minutes.
The town has a regional airport with daily Qantas flights. Within Moree, an On Demand bus service operates seven days a week, covering the township including the airport, aquatic centre, and town centre.
