Helensburgh is a small town located roughly halfway between Sydney and Wollongong (45km south of Sydney's CBD and 34km north of Wollongong), situated on the Woronora Plateau.
The town is bounded by National Park, water catchment reserves and the Eastern seaboard of Australia, serving a population of some 5,000 people with clubs, pub, sporting facilities, churches, schools and a shopping centre. Even though Helensburgh is a small town surrounded by The Royal National Park, it is bursting with things to do and see.

Helensburgh offers excellent transport links as the gateway between Sydney and Wollongong. The town can be accessed via the T4 or SCO train line from major Sydney stations including Bondi Junction, Kings Cross, Martin Place, Town Hall, Central and Redfern. By car, it's easily accessible via the Princes Highway.
