Geurie is a small rural town in New South Wales, located in the Western Plains region. The town is notable for its unique geological feature, Bald Hill, an extinct volcano that offers excellent outdoor recreation opportunities.
The area features Grey and White Box woodlands and serves as a birding hotspot with many hard-to-find species including White-browed Babblers and Diamond Firetails. Geurie has three trail areas suitable for jogging, horse riding and mountain biking, with Bald Hill offering almost 10 km of established and signposted single track.
