Bulahdelah is a country town on the banks of the Myall River, named from an Aboriginal word meaning "the meeting of the waters." It serves as the western gateway to Myall Lakes National Park, NSW's largest natural freshwater lake system. Located 242km north of Sydney, this charming town at just 10m elevation is home to the Grandis, NSW's tallest tree - a 400-year-old flooded gum over 70 metres tall.

A Pacific Highway bypass completed in 2013 now routes through traffic around the town, making it easily accessible for visitors while maintaining its peaceful character
