John Purkis and family passed the reins of the landmark Tea Gardens Hotel in Bondi Junction to Ryan hotel dynasty principals John and Sally Ryan. The sale represents a significant transaction in the Australian hospitality industry.
The sale was conducted by HTL Property on an off-market basis, with a series of discreet discussions held over a very short period leading to the largest single pub sale nationally for 2024. The Tea Gardens Hotel is a well-established venue in the bustling Bondi Junction area, known for its food, drinks, live sports, and entertainment offerings.
