Madura is a small roadhouse community located on the Eyre Highway in Western Australia, 1,253 kilometres from Perth, situated at the base of the Hampton Tablelands and next to the Madura Pass down from the Nullarbor Plain.
Originally settled in 1876 as a horse breeding station for the Indian Army, it now serves as a welcome stop for Nullarbor travelers. The location is known as one of the more peaceful and scenic Nullarbor stops.
