Guests of O'Reilly's Guest House usually came by coach and stayed at the Kerry Bridge Hotel overnight before riding horses up the Stockyard Creek track accompanied by members of the O'Reilly's family, to the Guest House

Spotted this old Queenslander at the town of Kerry south of Beaudesert. There is a one lane wooden bridge over a creek nearby. Hence the name I guess.

Abandoned with the remnants of a Bar in the room on the right hand side front and the sign "Public Bar" over the door.
