Forsayth is a historic service centre for road transport and regional tourism in outback Queensland's Gulf Savannah region.
Known for gold and precious agate fossicking, the town offers rich history and natural geological beauty. It serves as the terminus of the Savannahlander tourist railway and features what's known as Outback Queensland's Best Pub.
The town sits within the historic Etheridge Goldfields area.
