Surrounded by Lake Urana and Lake Urana Nature Reserve to the west and Lake Uranagong to the east, this service centre supports the surrounding wool and wheat farming district. Despite appearing as a sleepy settlement, Urana boasts real treasures including a large Soldiers Memorial Hall.
