Trangie is a quaint agricultural township with a population of 1000, located 34 kilometres west of Narromine on the Mitchell Highway. Known for its farming heritage, particularly cotton production, visitors during cotton season (usually April to June) can book tours of the cotton gin.
The town is nice and flat, very easy to walk or ride around, with attractions including the scenic Goan Waterhole and local cemetery rich in history.
