Mystery Adelaide Pub

6 February 2012

"Hi

Back in the late 1980's/early 1990's there were 4 Great Australian (Aussie) Pubs that were a chain in Adelaide. 3 of them were Ambassadors, Berkeley and Jules but I can't remember the 4th one. It was downstairs on North Terrace, opposite the Casino. It may be 142 North Terrace where The Firm is now or about that location. Just wondering if anyone can remember the name of the 4th Pub.

Thank you. I am happy for question to be published.

Simon who was a barman in Adelaide in those days is fairly sure it was "The Strathmore". used to have front bar full of Railway workers & Lounge bar full of Murdoch Journo's. Opposite the railway station & Parliament house. (and Casino)

Strathmore

Let me know if that rings a bell

Cheers John
