Former Tenterfield Pub identified

11 April 2011

Former Railway Hotel

In January Graham Roots sent us a Picture of a building in Tenterfield which looked like a former Pub. So we put out the pic as a former Mystery Pub and Graham Dempsey came through with the Pubs history with the help of the Caravan Park.

April 2011 - "Your mystery Pub at Tenterfield N.S.W down from the railway station is part of the.Tenterfield lodge caravan park. It is a 131 years old. Its first name was the W.Crisp Temperance Hotel when built in 1878 then from 1935 it was known as the Railway Hotel being near the Main north railway line. Hope this helps." - Chris Dempsey

- Thanks Chris, Mystery Solved. Cheers
