The best way to reach Quorn is by car, following the main highway from Adelaide and turning off about 5km before Port Augusta onto the bituminised road to Quorn. A car is also essential for getting around the area, as some surrounding roads are unsealed.

The historic Pichi Richi Railway operates heritage steam and diesel trains between Port Augusta and Quorn, offering a scenic journey through the Pichi Richi Pass. The region provides excellent opportunities for bushwalkers, cyclists, and 4WD enthusiasts with various trails and tours available.
