Lyceum Hotel
The 'Lyceum Hotel' in Longreach is primarily known today as the site of the Longreach RSL Club.
While it once operated as a prominent hotel and theatre complex in the town's early days, the historic building now serves as a central hub for the RSL, offering dining, bar facilities, and a meeting place for the community.
The heritage-listed building retains much of its original character and is an important part of Longreach's history, with some areas still reflecting its past as the Lyceum Theatre.
Lyceum Hotel was gutted by fire on 14th June 2018.
