There was a change of Management underway when we were there in September 2001. Went to auction 2012 with a local owner keeping the Hotel operating. We will keep you updated as the Railway Pub get's steaming along again
If you are a train buff then this is a must visit Pub for you. Lot's of Pubobillia photo's of trains old and mid century with the Rattler's Station just across the road. That's the Mary Valley rattler of course which takes you on a steam train journey into the past and down to Imbil. The Bar walls are themed around trains as well to add to the atmosphere. Beautiful wide balcony upstairs off the rooms gives you the best Pub View of Gympie.
Trains everywhere in this Pub
All aboard at the Railway Hotel.
No promotions to tell you about untill the new managers get in and get the Pub rocking. The locals there having a beer or two are probably all the entertainment that you need in the meantime.
