The Phoenix specialises in upmarket Pub dining and country hospitality. We trust that you will enjoy your choice of quality accommodation in Gympie and visit us to experience our extensive Menu and Bars.
The Phoenix was built around 1887, just 20 years after James Nash discovered Gold in Gympie and was so named after the North Phoenix number 2 mine. To this day there are 3 tunnels under the Hotel, the closest being 100 metres from the surface. Today the Phoenix is a warm, friendly, tastefully refurbished community Hotel. We recommend the Outback Gourmet Pizza, Morrocan Chicken Breast and the Poenix Rump steak from the extensive Menu.
