The Hotel was rebuilt by the Sydney Harbour Board on this site in c1922 after the old Hotel c1843 was demolished for the building of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
(Publican Shannon Hunter gave me a conducted tour of the Hotel. It really is a top Pub, with all the amenities that you could want.)- Jon
