Pyrmont Bridge Hotel in Pyrmont (Sydney)

Established in 1870 as the Native Youth Hotel, renamed Boyland's Hotel in 1913, Montgomery Hotel 1930's and the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel in 1998.

"Monty's" was a notorious waterfront pub in my old days (60-70's) and I had many enjoyable times there. The old days, plenty of atmosphere and character.

"My great great grandfather Thomas O'Brien was the publication of this Hotel till his death in 1875, but I thought he was there earlier than you have in your information on this Hotel. I wonder if you have any more information on Native Youth Hotel. Regards, Elizabeth Royle.
