"Halfway has been attracting visitors to it's beautiful location since the days of horse & carts.

The Hampton Halfway was first established in 1863 by a Mr. Michael Kelly and for many years was known as "Kelly's Halfway House", or "Kelly's Imperial Half-way House".
Throughout the years the Halfway has been reconstructed and it is now a modern day building, although some of the original structure can still be seen.

  • The Hampton Hotel has motel style accommodation, the rooms being located at the rear of the hotel premises. There are 17 rooms available including a family room and a bunk house ideal for large groups.

In the main bar area of the hotel we have icy cold beer on tap and a Juke Box keeping the atmosphere lively and happy.

Here you can enjoy a friendly game of pool and sometimes you can even join in on the Friday night pool competition.

We also have a 'beer garden' where you can relax and really enjoy 'air that is actually fresh'.
