Then the Dougherty family bought the land & built a brand new hotel on the vacant land opening it's doors for patrons on 4th July 2008. We have renamed the Hotel to the Clocktower Hotel. - Bill Dougherty 2010

"...the hotel features high ceilings and a long verandah, with an indoor restaurant dining area that can seat 130 people, as well as an outdoor area that can seat 40 people.
....Whether you are after a thick, juicy steak, fresh seafood, or simply some coffee and cake, The Clocktower Hotel Restaurant offers delicious food at affordable prices. Open Monday to Saturday
.....The new Sportsman Bar boasts a 165 centimetre and two 127 centimetre plasma television screens, where sports lovers can catch all the major matches on Austar Fox Sports, including NRL, Super 14, cricket and racing.
