Home to the Tantanoola Tiger. The fascinating story of the tiger refers to the "Tantanoola Tiger" on display in the Hotel. An Assyrian Wolf, shot in the belief it was responsible for the demise of over 4000 sheep. The culprit turned out to be local man Charlie Edmondson.

Originally the culprit was though to have been a Bengal Tiger escaped from a circus. Hence the legend and Pub Name.
