The Blue Pacific is known as "Blueys.
not because of the Pubs name but because Bluey has been Publican there since 1965. Built in 1939, the Pub became Australian and USA army officers quarters during WW2 and the the licence was granted back in 1941. You can still see the old Gun Bunkers around the island.

The Pub is in fact the oldest established business on the Island and the Pub walls are a museum to the Island and to the history of the Pub itself. We caught a little of the Pubobillia for you to have a look at below.

Bribie Island is a haven for watersports lovers and people who want to get away from it all and with the facilities of the local hotel your stay is complete.
