The Hotel Cecil is a wonderful old building with a classic 12ft Balcony and high ceilings. Established in 1911 the Pub is still the original building with the original ornate staircase. Dennis and Pam have done a brilliant job restoring over the last few years.

The balcony has an area for patrons as well as a guests area off the rooms so you can really enjoy Wondai with a Cold Beer.

The "Bottom Pub" was built in 1905 when Wondai boasted pubs and is still the original building. A one time owner of the Wondai was a amn of many talents ,Mr A.W.Ware, who also attained the high position of Mayor of Adelaide.

The brilliant Mural backing the Pool Room was painted by local Maurice Mickelo who deserves a plug for that very talented work.

If you have a look throught the wondai you will see the original woodwork and the time,skill and pride that went into first constructing the local Pub.
