The Cooyar Hotel was established in 1903. Originally there were 3 pubs in town when the Timber Industry was strong in the Area. A local Pub burnt down in 1935 and it may have been this one. Not sure. But glad the Cooyar survived so far because it's a top Pub. The Rooms are almost finished being renovated and are some of the best we have seen. Beautifuly furnished, nice and large. The Locals love a chat. Say G'day to George. He knows everything about the area.
