Some information taken from the Beauford House Website

The “Coat of Arms Kaffeehaus Restaurant” within Beaufort House offers a European Style Café during the day

If you wish to take in an evening meal the Coat of Arms Restaurant is open from Friday evening through to Sunday Lunch and offers a true European Fair

Former Gold Reef Hotel

Now Beauford House Hotel (Private Hotel)

This hotel was de-licenced in Dec 1978 - Jan 1979. The then publican died owing the local Council money. The Council then actioned the hotel.

From the website

"During the early 1920's a large part of Adelong was destroyed by fire and in 1926 the Commercial Hotel (which was next door)was rebuilt as the existing 2-storey structure, in later years it then became the "Gold Reef Hotel".

There are reminders of yesteryear throughout the building with the frosted "CH" Commercial Hotel symbol on the window panes. Many a local have expressed "if only these walls could talk". The "Gold Reef Hotel" was renamed "Beaufort Guesthouse".

Beaufort House is a premier and unique 1900's style establishment offering a relaxing adult retreat for discerning travelers and corporations.

Boasting original European antiques, themed luxurious rooms, each with their own unique experience and personal touches, Beaufort House truly is 'One of a Kind'.

The 'Beaufort House' establishment features a 'Boutique Hotel', 'The Altar Wine Bar', and 'Coat of Arms Kaffeehaus Restaurant'.

Coat of Arms Kaffeehaus Restaurant now has the pleasure of announcing new opening hours for our Restaurant effective immediately!
