Now here's something different, its a pub in a pub!

There are two Bars. PJ's bar which is the old Pub public bar and where you will find the locals or travelers having a beer or two and the Bistro Bar and Resort facilities.

Well you see the prior hotel, (Trawool Hotel), had such a great facade, that they kept it, and built the new resort building right around it! And a resort it now is, with conference facilities, and accommodation suites that are of particular interest for those special occasions, or perhaps a romantic getaway!

The hills surrounding the property provide a breathtaking view to enjoy from the suites.

In 1871 a Mr James selected the land to build a Pub. 1888 the Pub was run by Jim and Mary Mckimmie. Son and daughter of Thomas. The Pub was opened sometime in that period and operated under many different licencees to this day.
