Hermitage Hotel
The Hermitage Hotel dating back to 1848, is part of the Harrow By Night weekly event that provides a show and dinner, involving the townsfolk dressing in period attire.
The Hotel also hosts the bachelors and spinsters nights where the locals arrange suitable accommodation and hospitality whilst newcomers are introduced to the local guys and gals seeking to meet people from 'out of town'. Some successful relationships have resulted - great work!

Harrow, the oldest inland town in Victoria, is home to the Johnny Mullagh Cricket Centre (in memory of the all-aboriginal cricket squad of 1868), and more recently known for its Harrow By Night entertainment/dinner shows hosted out of the Hermitage Hotel in the middle of the main street.
Today the town has a population of only 150 people. Numerous historic buildings (many now privately owned), with some dating back to the 1850's, make for some interesting visiting when in the area.
