Ranges Hotel
Gembrook marks the end of the Puffing Billy steam engine railway line - but what a great treat is at the station: the Ranges Hotel.
In fact, if the train doesn't stop, it would go straight into the main bar over the road from the station!
Built in 1896, it has an unusual timbered and ornate glassed atmosphere, due to its building materials being once part of a church. The original publican designed and built the Pub, and brought with him, all the salvaged building materials from an old Church building from his home town to do it.
The hospitality is great, food is superb, and there is accommodation available as well as a nicely stocked bottle shop.
So stroll the town, enjoy the attractions and pop back for a meal or an ale with the locals, at The Ranges.
