The real watering hole in the middle of this little town!
The local "Bucky" pub, is well frequented by those who slip along the Melba Highway or have come down from Lake Mountain though Marysville, which is reached at the intersection in town where the Buxton Hotel is located.
The Pub has a beaut bistro and nice outlook from its verandah surrounding the hotel. You'll often see car and motorcyclist clubs meeting here, as it is a great touring route around this area. You can't miss the Pub - with the motorcycle on the roof!

There are two roadhouses in Buxton
One is called the Igloo Roadhouse , who make the Bucky Burger.
The other is the Buxton Roadhouse" aka 'Choppers' who also sell hamburgers using only the freshest ingredients and other tasty treats. As well as fuel and convenience items. And they give Truckies a free coffee with fuel purchase and plenty of good cheer.
