Built 1902 in Waratah
Tasmania.This town boasted the richest tin mine[Mt. Bischoff] in the world during the late 1800's up to 1947.
It was possibly the key to Tasmania
remaining a viable state after the cessation of convict deportation. Providing meals and accommodation on Tasmania's wild west coast, a haven for motorcyclists, bushwalkers, golfers, fisherman or stressed out mainlanders.

Information on Waratah, TAS
Waratah was constructed to support a tin mine at Mount Bischoff. The town is built at the top of a waterfall, and water was diverted from the stream to provide water for the mine.
