Wilmington is well placed just south of Pt Augusta and its surrounding area is an ideal place for those seeking a quiet spot when travelling north to Flinder's Ranges or coming over from the Nullarbor or even coming down from the Centre. It lies along an alternative north-south route for those travelling the area, and is close by the Mount Remarkable National Park. And for those interested in old 4WD's - well it boasts a superb collection of fine old landrovers in the Toy Museum.
