Out there on the treeless plains of the Nullarbor I suppose the last thing you are expecting to see is a whale. The real whales are seasonal visitors (June-October), but the stories, pictures and models of the whales are at the bar all year round.

After a cold beer in the Whale's Tale Inn you can take a scenic flight from with Whale Air or venture to the Head of the Bight by car and see them from the cliffs.

Almost no trees at all and everyone spends time looking out to sea. An unusual place! The people have a great time here.

Telling tales at the bar!
