Yarraman Hotel Motel![]() Yarraman Hotel Motel Photos: 27/09/2000 Photos: Gdaypubs If you wanted to know which Pub was at the Northern end of the New England Highway,Well now you do. The Yarraman has a motel next door as well for a little bit extra comfort. And how's this. The Pub has got it's own coin operated washing and drying machines. Handy for when it rains at least once a year in this part of the world. Seems like that to the locals at the moment anyway. Early in the century the Yarraman Hotel used to face in the opposite direction. That was because the Highway was the other side of the Pub and so that was the way it was built facing. Later the highway was move a street to the then back of the Hotel. So wagons and bullocks were brought in, the pub was lifted off it's stumps and spun 180 degrees to face the right way. I have it on good authority that the Bar was open and full during the whole event. Hence the Revolving Restaurant was invented I guess . Yarraman Hotel Motel
